Point Fender

A Point Fender is as a coupling element between two Bodies.

The model will give:

  • A compressive force parallel to the normal vector of the sliding plane

  • A friction force along the sliding plane

The fender can either be point symmetric, giving friction in all directions along the sliding plane, or it can be defined as a roller.
In the latter case only motion parallel to the rotation axis results in friction.
