It is possible to export and import model objects and post processor/workflow data using JSON.

Right click any model in the navigator and choose main menu File→Export→JSON Model export to export this object represented as JSON

When importing you must select the appropriate model object that should contain the imported object(s), then choose main menu File→Import→JSON Model import

The JSON files are also used when interacting with the SIMA python library
