How to yaw a wind turbine in modelled configuration using a reference frame

1. Add reference frame

  • Right click on model, new → Reference Frame

  • Name the reference frame Nacelle

  • Set the Rz Global value to variable

  • Name the variable yawAngle

2. Supernodes

  • Change the reference system for the super nodes above the tower.

  • Make a nacelle line to attach the Nacelle body to if attached to tower

3. Bodies

  • Change the position of the bodies according to the yawAngle.

    • Right click on Rz→set Script
