Moment Coupling

Moment Coupling between two Bodies.

The rotation vector defines the direction of a moment in the body fixed coordinate system of Body1. This direction will be constant in the local system during a simulation. At each time step the corresponding vector in the global system and in Body2 system will be calculated. The calculated moment related to stiffness is able to handle rotations of more than 360 degrees (or less than –360deg.)
