1. Signal Selection

1.1. Purpose

Select and filter signals based on specified requirements.

1.2. Description

The Signal Selection operation creates multiple output streams from a single input based on selection requirements. This allows for advanced filtering where different subsets of signals can be directed to different downstream operations.

The editor features a two-pane interface:

  • Left pane: Hierarchical tree view of available signals

  • Right pane: Requirements editor for defining selection criteria

Each output slot can have its own set of requirements and optionally flatten the output signal structure.

1.3. Input

A signal tree from an upstream operation.

1.4. Output

Multiple output slots, each containing signals that match the specified requirements for that output.

1.5. Parameters

  • Flatten: When enabled for an output slot, the hierarchical structure is removed from the output signals.
