1. Transformation

1.1. Purpose

Transformation of 3 or 6 degrees of freedom signal to another coordinate system.

1.2. Input

  • Relative: Relative signal expressed in the reference coordinate system

    • Choose between:

      • Either 3 DOF (translation only: x, y, z) or 6 DOF (translation + rotation: x, y, z, Rx, Ry, Rz)

  • Reference: The reference coordinate system

    • Choose between:

      1. Specified manually - enter offset (x, y, z) in meters and rotation angles (Rx, Ry, Rz) in degrees

      2. Pass from signal - enter a 6 DOF signal from another source that defines the reference coordinate system

    • The offset and rotation angles you enter for the reference coordinate system are defined with respect to the target (i.e. global) coordinate system.

1.3. Output

  1. Signals in the target coordinate system (i.e. global)

1.4. Example
