1. Specify Properties

1.1. Purpose

Specify or modify custom properties on signals.

1.2. Description

The Specify Properties operation allows users to add or modify attributes on signals. The editor provides two modes of operation:

  • Direct input: View input signals and edit their properties directly in a table format

  • Specify paths: Define path-based rules for setting attribute-value pairs on multiple signals

This is useful for adding metadata to signals or modifying existing properties before further processing.

The same signals with added or modified properties.

1.5. Parameters

Properties are specified as attribute-value pairs:

  • Attribute: The name of the property to set

  • Value: The value to assign to the property
