1. Signal Types The following signals are used in the post processor/workflow. 1.1. Scalars Attribute: yunit Example: 10 kN. The data set is 10 and yunit is kN. 1.2. Equidistant signals Attributes: xunit, start, delta, yunit Example: A time series of wave elevation with time step 0.1 s, starting at 120 s. The data set is then the wave elevation, xunit is s, start is 120, delta is 0.1 and yunit is m. 1.3. Non-equidistant signals Attributes: xunit, yunit Example: A projection of a Riflex line in the \(xz\)-plane. The data set is then the \(x\) and \(z\) coordinates of the Riflex nodes, xunit is m and yunit is m. See also Units. Example of extreme value distribution Units
